YBP Membership Tops 100

The Yellowstone Business Partnership has exceeded its 100-member milestone thanks to the interest of businesses and business-affiliated individuals from 14 counties in the Yellowstone-Teton region. Fifty of the business members are from Montana, 40 of which are located in Gallatin County (Bozeman and West Yellowstone, primarily). Twenty businesses have joined from western Wyoming counties with another 15 from eastern Idaho. INEDALE -- One penny for every million cubic feet of natural gas produced in Wyoming should go into a state fund to help mitigate habitat and wildlife impacts from oil and gas development in areas like the Upper Green River Basin in southwestern Wyoming, Gov. Dave Freudenthal says. "I don't intend to preside over the end of wildlife in this state," Freudenthal told an enthusiastic Conservation Congress gathering in Pinedale Saturday.
